Travel?! Are You Crazy?

Are you crazy? It is something I have often envisioned people thinking, but I have never really heard anyone say it to my face. People often say you should spend money on experiences, not things and to an extent, I agree. The obvious exception is when things provide experiences such as buying a bike. That bike may be able to provide experiences not attainable otherwise. Anyway, when I leave a rewarding, decent paying job (again) to travel for an unknown amount of time it makes me wonder myself. On this particular occasion, living in Mau was paradise. It was unfulfilling though.  I  definitely needed something more though and knew that. That is why I set off on an “Instagram road trip”. I want to find the most photographed places in Canada and the US, with no real plan on which ones or how to do that. So Bon Voyage, and keep your eyes peeled for updates!

********THIS IS IMPORTANT *********

People do ask how I travel and do what I do. It’s really not hard and you don’t need an “online job generating six figures or more” or anything like that. It definitely helps to have a hospitality background, but anyone can make it work! More posts on this later and other money-saving travel tips to come.
